Winter Fun, MLK & More -Taylorsville-

The children joyfully celebrated winter and MLK Day with hands-on learning and creative activities. They explored the wonders of the season by making edible snowflakes with tortillas, sugar, and cinnamon, and delighted in sensory bins filled with artificial snow and Arctic animal figurines. As they learned about animal tracks and penguins, they traced and painted penguins, discovered the names of their body parts, and created beautiful finger paint penguin art. They even made edible animal tracks using crackers, cream cheese, and pretzels. In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the children learned about his life and message of peace, friendship, and equality, created meaningful handprint art to celebrate diversity, and baked colorful muffins to symbolize unity. It was a season filled with creativity, discovery, and important lessons about kindness and community. Happy Birthday Owen, Maria, Israel and Bryn:).
