Bees and Holidays! -Taylorsville-
It has been a tradition for us to make candles and learn about bees right before the winter holidays! We also made our own luminaries with beeswax, and finger painted with honey, yogurt and spices. We learned about the life cycle and different kinds of bees and pollination using beautiful materials! Have you seen our bumblebees paintings?! To celebrate the holidays, we fixed ourselves some delicious latkes and had hot chocolate in candy glasses that we made with crushed peppermint candy:). YUM:). Thank you to Morgan and Makenna’s mother and grand-mother for coming to our school to talk to us about Hanukkah…We had fun lighting the Mennorah and playing with dreidels:).
