Endless Summer Fun -Taylorsville-
Did you know we have a new mud kitchen in our playground! We always have fun cooking with soil, seeds and mulch:). We continue to enjoy our summer camp here at school! We juiced oranges and used the rinds to make bird feeders. Have you seen the people sculptures we made with plaster strips?! We had so much fun dressing them up:). Going on nature walks is one of our favorite things to do…This time, we went on one to collect leaves and rub them with charcoal to create a beautiful collage:). It was a lot of fun squeezing paint on acrylic sheets and popping the bubbles with a hair dryer:). As for snacks, we fixed ourselves fruit compote French toast with some yummy banana smoothie:). It was a rainy day…So, we couldn’t use our solar oven:(. The following week, we had a gorgeous sunny day:). So, we used our solar oven to make cheddar and broccoli quiche that we devoured:). Did you know we got to smash paint with berries, casted cars, flowers and robots with rising foam, dipped different objects in paint to create beautiful fabric art and painted with bubbles and food colors?:). Happy 3rd Birthday, Natalie:).
