Yummy Bean Sprouts, Monet, and More -Taylorsville- Primary
Over the past few weeks, the children explored a variety of engaging and enriching lessons to end the school year. They learned about the famous artist Claude Monet, carefully studying his beautiful impressionist works and matching his paintings before creating their own artwork inspired by Poppy Fields and Water Lilies. As part of their science studies, the children learned about the life cycle of beans and observed lima beans sprouting, bringing science to life through hands-on observation. They even dressed up as little chefs, frying their own bean sprouts and enjoying them with rice—a fun way to connect food, science, and independence. Our classroom shelves were filled with exciting new art lessons, where children joyfully made colorful paper chains and constructed vibrant paper pyramids. The school year ended with a heartfelt celebration as we honored our graduates in a cheerful ceremony. Wearing caps and gowns, the children proudly walked down the aisle while parents and teachers clapped and cheered. It has been a wonderful year, full of creativity, discovery, and growth.
